Grau is the in-between.
Where nuance becomes change.
Systemic business and personal coaching integrates evidence-based methods with visual and creative approaches to create clarity and build resilient systems.
The systemic approach
Grau supports individuals and teams in designing systems that are aligned with their identity and values, enabling sustainable change.
Working primarily with professionals in demanding, analytically driven fields, Grau deliberately operates outside established thought patterns. Alongside dialogue-based formats, visual and creative methods are used to make complex situations tangible, reveal patterns, and open new spaces for action.
Systemic coaching at Grau is not focused on short-term problem solving, but on developing resilient structures that form a coherent foundation. Change is not imposed from the outside, but recognized, tested, and embedded within the system itself, where identity, decision-making, and action intersect.
Within your system.

Grau stands for systemic business and personal coaching, founded and led by Monika Grabuschnigg.
The coaching practice works with individuals and teams in demanding professional contexts where clarity, orientation, and inner stability are essential. Systemic methodology is combined with creative approaches to open new ways of thinking and acting and to enable long-term change. Visual thinking functions as a precise tool for pattern recognition, shifts in perspective, and decision-making.
I am a certified Systemic Business and Personal Coach (ECA) and a member of the Federal Association for Quality and Systemic Work. My professional background is rooted in the creative sector. I hold a Master in Art and work entrepreneurially in an international context, with experience in mentoring, project steering, and complex operational processes.
This combination shapes my coaching approach: structured, clear, and oriented toward sustainable impact.

Growth, not the glossy kind.
The grounded kind that comes from structure, clarity and steady practice. Building foundations that support your development and protect your energy in everyday life and in leadership.
Resilience, not toughness. Not pushing harder.
But systems that stabilise you, routines that protect your energy, and patterns that help you stay connected to yourself.
Agency, the ability to act with intention.
Seeing more clearly, choosing more deliberately, and creating the conditions for movement that actually matters.
Unfolding, where new thinking becomes possible.
Creative shifts, surprising angles – solutions that appear once the extremes fall away and nuance becomes visible.

Who does Grau work with?
Grau works with individuals, teams, and leaders in demanding professional contexts. Engagements may take place on an individual basis or within organizational settings.
How does a collaboration begin?
A collaboration begins with a brief initial exchange, in writing or by phone, to clarify the focus and determine a suitable format.
In which formats does Grau work?
Grau works in short-term or longer-term formats. Sessions take place online, by phone, in Berlin, or on site within organizations, including within existing structures, development processes, or team contexts.
What does Grau mean by systemic coaching?
Grau understands systemic coaching as working with clients as experts in their own context. The focus is on relationships, decision-making spaces, and structures, guided by goals, pace, and concrete needs.
How many sessions are planned?
The number of sessions is defined jointly. Grau works with open processes rather than fixed programs.
How is a session structured?
The standard format is a 90-minute session. Extended sessions are possible by arrangement.
How does Grau work?
Grau works in a structured and solution-oriented manner. Topics are clarified, contexts examined, and translated into actionable frameworks, with a focus on clarity, decision-making, and implementation.
What applies in case of schedule changes?
Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled session cannot be refunded.
Is coaching suitable for every situation?
Grau does not work with acute psychological crises or situations requiring therapeutic or medical treatment. In such cases, professional psychological or medical support is required.
